Changes to our delivery service in response to COVID19
Posted by Amy Langan on
Dear Customers,
In light of the current situation with COVID19 (Coronavirus), we wanted to keep you updated on how this will impact our business and the service we offer. We need to ensure that the health and wellbeing of our customers and staff is our top priority so starting this week we will be making a few changes to how our delivery teams operate.
Our delivery team will no longer be able to take bags of logs inside the properties of our customers. We will endeavour to help our customers as much as possible with leaving your delivery in the most accommodating place for you and our team will still be happy to take the delivery through to a safe place if access is via an outdoor pathway or similar, but for the foreseeable future we will not be able to deliver into our customers homes.
We will be limiting contact with customers and members of the public, keeping a recommended (by the WHO) one meter away but still offering the same warm smile. We hope this doesn’t change our usual high standard of service, but these are unprecedented times.
At present we still endeavour to complete deliveries as normal, however we will be monitoring the situation closely and ensure that we follow any guidelines set out to us. We will keep you updated if we need to implement any additional measures.
Apologies for any inconvenience these changes may cause you and thank you for your understanding and patience. Please do get in contact with us if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
Backwell Logs
